    4. I have some questions. Recently bought a 2008 tacoma d-cab 6ft bed. I know nothing about leaf springs. But it's got the EL095R springs in the rear. Wanting to lower the rear about 1"- 1.5" or so. Truck sits a little too high in the rear for me. What to do? Take out a leaf? But which one? Put stock spring back in? But what is the stock spring number? I don't know what to do. Any info would be greatly helpful.

I am looking at replacing the suspension with this kit and adding a front bumper + winch, 285/75/R16 tires, and a camper shell/bed drawers in the near future. Intent is to use the truck for moderate off-road trails for camping, hunting, fishing, etc...what set up would you recommend to accommodate? I was thinking 886 coils, HD leaf pack with a 3” lift. A If you plan to put a bumper and a winch, then on the front we recommend you order 886 coils for 200+ lbs. front weight from aftermarket bumper or winch. This stiff spring compensates for extra weight if you will add a constant weight to the rear, we advise you to consider options for tightening springs EL111R (old: EL095R) - Standard Dakar Leaf Pack - Approximately 2.5 ″ of lift or EL112R (old: EL096R) - Heavy Dakar Leaf Pack - 300 Kgs / 661 Lbs. Constant Load - Approximately 2.5 ″ of lift

A 885 coils will be good for not very heavy bumper without winch 886 will be better for heavier bumper and winch. Rear AALs are recommended for carrying heavy loads and towing heavy trailers. if riding empty - shackles or blocks will give more comfort than AALs
    18. This is a review, not a question. I can’t leave it in the actual review section though. I just installed on my 2010 off-road. There is definitely some grinding necessary on the rear shocks. I ground almost a quarter inch off each shock. Everything else is a great fit. The instructions that came with my kit were for the AAL, but I had the Dakar springs. I have front armor and a 9k winch and it rides great with that weight. I highly recommend this to anyone, even 2015s.

Q 2013 Trd offroad why don't you recomend the spacer plate while using the 886 answer now
A We and/or ARB don't recommend the top plate spacer because the 886 spring is the heaviest spring that OME offers for this particular vehicle. If the top plat spacer is added damage might occur to the shock

A This kit will not give you less then 3'' lift for the standart cab even on 884 coils. Please consider this https://suspensionlifts.com/shop/toyota-tacoma/2005-2015/bilstein-height-adjustable-5100-front-and-rear-5100-shock/ kit - it can be regulated to 1.5'' lift or slightle more if you'll need in future. You can start with the 3rd clip and go from there. Another option would be to buy adjustable coil overs and adjust them to desire lift. Yes it would be a good idea to gen an alignment done after adjusting vehicle height. Please see the scheme in the answers lower on the page the link for which I've provided.

      A

With this particular application i would recommend to get adjustable coil overs on the front and set them up to 1 1/2 or depending on the weight of the bumper and winch. OME 886 will give the vehicle close to 3" of lift and keep in mind that OME suspensions are not adjustable. 112-620 coil  will give approximately 1 1/2 of lift and it will work with the stock shock. I don't know what will be the cab height after the lift, every vehicle is different and We don't know how heavy the bumper
      or winch is.
