Questions and Answers

-Where exactly does this spacer install? Is it between the spring and cap, or on top of everything?

-It sits on top of everything.

-Can it install by itself to correct drivers side lean, or does it only work on top of other spacers?  Does it require longer studs?

No, you can use it separately for driver’s side lean. And it does not require longer studs.

Does not fit 1999 Tacoma SR5 2WD. Contacted Toytec and they said it is not for Tacomas with 5 lug wheels. BilsteinLifts web site did not specify this. Cost me shipping plus 15% restocking.

Installed one 1/4" spacer in the left front to correct a 1/2" lean on my 2014 Tacoma. Two thumbs up, highly recommended, great price and fast shipping.

A We think it may be possible, but it is not recommended to stack lifts - we haven't tested the mix of different manufacturers' spacers will work

A it is not recommended to use for 2017 Tacomas because they are already factory lifted by 1'' and for them the total recommended lift amount without using aftermatket UCAs, cv axles modifications and other must not exceed 2''

A Yes, you can use it. It is recommended to take measurements of left and right sides first, because on some trucks drivers side sits slightly lower and passengers - slightly higher. And only one spacer can be required in such cases. Please keep in mind to measure the bolts length - to have the bolts with the proper length to fit the spacers.

A Yes, these shocks can be used with spacers with corresponding (not bigger) lift.

A Yes, it can be used. Please take some measurements of your truck before - sometimes the passengers side of some trucks sits higher then the drivers, and you may need only one spacer then ( depending on the height measured). Please keep in mind that any side lift withoust serious suspension upgrades is not recommended to be higher then 3''.
