Put on my 2018 4 runner before I drove the vehicle away from the dealer! I set the fronts at 1.75 and used 1" rear spacers from Cornfed Suspensions. This setup is fantastic. The on road driveability is superb!! Off road the 5g4r is even better!!! I will have Bilsteins on everything I own forever!

Wow, what a difference! Wish I had put these on 40K miles ago.

We were about to get rid of our 5th gen 4Runner because the it had the responsiveness of a boat. It had tons of body roll in corners and ridiculous nose dive when braking. Had the 5100 kit installed about a week ago. Set the front @ 1.75 and added a 1.5" spacer to the rear. It's like a completely different truck. The progressive factory springs still provide a comfortable ride, but the shocks greatly improved the handling.

Extremely happy with this set up. Bilsteinlifts.com had the best pricing compared to other places I looked, and as everyone else has mentioned, the shipping was super quick. I installed this on my 2016 4Runner Trail Premium (2.5” in the front with stock coils and a 1.5” Daystar rear spacer), which allowed me to run bigger tires (285/70/17) with only minor trimming needed. The ride and the looks are a definite improvement from the stock set up.

A Diff drop kt is one and only - it is recommended for 4WD trucks for 1.5'' of front  lift and more to increase the CV axles life.

A Hello, in order to figure out how much lift you need to level please take existing measurements from center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender. Difference between front and rear is how much lift you need to level. http://prntscr.com/gfgxwtThe height is different on 4th gen 4Runners, some of them sit at 18 inches, some at 18.5 and some at 19 inches, the rear is 21 inches on these vehicles. So after 1,5'' raising the rear you'll still have front rake but it may be less then factory

A It was designed to work on stock coils .nIt will lift the front by shocks height adjustment

A It will depend on springs condition and wheels offset Basicly 32'' tires will fit 2,5'' front lift without issues, for bigger tires you'll need some plastic trimming. Also precise castercamber adjustment may help

A I don't think that is accurate. There is nothing shock-related with kdss. You may have confused it with xreas on the Limiteds.

      A

Yes, if you want the rear end be lifted you will require maybe springs or some other rear lift options.

If you want your rear end remain the stock height, these rear shocks will fit without any lift option.

These shocks will work with stock coils.

Front shocks can be adjusted for a 0-2,5'' lift.

Rear can work with 0'' lift, they can't be adjusted. If you want to gain rear lift some rear lift options such as blocks or add a leafs will be needed.
